Thing 3: Set Up Blog

I have been wanting to create a blog for a long time. It was much easier than I thought it would be. I'm looking forward to exploring the Blogger site and trying out some different layouts. I had fun working on the avatar. She looks a little bit like me...on a good day.

    We found a fix for the Yahoo Avatars this morning. We think there's something wrong with the html code.
    Here are the steps to fix:
    1. Go to your avatar on the Yahoo page. Click export like before.
    2. Right click on the avatar and choose "save as" or the like.
    3. Save the picture to a folder with a name you will remember.
    4. Go back to your blog and choose "customize".
    5. Click on your avatar gadget (it's an html gadget) and click "remove" when it asks if you are sure, say "yes". You are sure.
    6. Click “add gadget” and choose the picture gadget. May sure “from your computer” is selected and click “browse”.
    7. Find where you saved your avatar, select it, and click “open”.
    8. Click “save”.
    9. Click “save” again, just in case.
    10. Click view blog. Your avatar should show up.
